Yesterday was the youth group Christmas party (and if it was anyone reading this that put a bottle of soap in a bag as their white elephant gift the Lord will get u back because as He says "vengenance is mine")! It was awsome full of apples to apples, bingo, ping pong, fusball, ps3 playing, dominoes, food, pop, door prizes.... etc. O yeah I also won something in bingo!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was really excited cause that's never happened before but yeah anyways. I think it's really funny that over about 3/4 of the youth group is full of cousins and people the cousins drag along for the ride :) The countdown for Christmas break was started a long time ago but here's the official countdown as of today: 5 1/2 school days!!!!!! Aren't all the parents excited!?! it is FREEZING outside! my hands completely dried out today from just going from the school door to the car after school but it was sooooooooo exciting to watch all the little snowflakes( and more importantly:) and the HUGE snowflakes storming down from the sky during science class! The snow somehow happened to mysteriously disappear before school got out who woulda guessed though! Anyone ever heard the song where it goes "I am free to run (I am free to run) I am free to dance (I am free to dance) I am free to live for You (I am free to live for you) I am free (I am free) Yes I am free!!!" That's exactly how I feel right now cause I'm allowed to run and dance and I'm always supposed to live my life for God. Even when I mess up I can keep going on and doing my best in all aspects of that song!

BRACE!

Ok I'm really excited now cause I'm free!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Today Mike finally let me have my freedom and i don't have to wear my brace anymore!!!!! sure my leg isn't were it's supposed to be w/ some things but w/ almost everything else it's all good! my leg bends to were normal people bend it(apperently my legs are really flexible and go farther) but it doesn't go completely straight so please yell at me if u see me walking toe to heel instead of heel to toe k? i only have like 2 more visits so hopefully it hurrys up some but yeah. ttyl!

i'm still stuck in my brace although i was supposed to get out of it 2-3 weeks ago so i'm not very happy but someday. the lock in was awsome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! sorry this one's really tiny but it's time for me to do my history project so ttyl!

brace, doctor, LOCK-IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok i was supposed to be able to take my brace off according to the official paper thingy for my type of surgery LAST wednesday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i still need to be able to get my leg a little straighter cause when i'm sitting down i should be able to lift my leg up like it is one thing but when i do it i lift my upper leg up my knee bends slighly and then my lower leg comes up! it really stinks and mike is really confused so he made a couple of my exercises that focus on that part harder so i can finally get out of this brace. hopefully i'll be out by thursday(from the doctor) or friday if my leg works right :/. i get to leave health class early tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! or in other words i'm visiting the doctor again :( i like the first wording better cause it sounds like more fun but yeah sometimes not everything is fun. o just a ps anyone that goes to lca on friday is a jeans day where u pay $1 to wear jeans(either pants or skirt but skirt only for girls :) and $2 to wear jeans and a Christian t-shirt/sweatshirt/long sleeve shirt. anyways on friday i get to go to my first lock-in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it's at ally's church and it sounds like it'll be a blast but if she doesn't start staying out of trouble the rest of this week i won't be able to go so everyone please pray for a certain ally payne that goes to lca to stay out of trouble at least the rest of this week! thanks! yeah so catch ya later!

pt, grandma, and school

Well, by Friday i'm hopefully going to be aloud to go w/o my brace(that excites me a lot!). I can now bend my leg to 110 degrees by myself and Mike can bend it 130 for me :( i would love to say that it doesn't hurt as much as at the beginning but that would be lying cause it bent really easy to 90 degrees when i first started. i think everyone knows that grandma had a minor stroke on monday, but she got out of the hospital yesterday and should hopefully be moving around by tomorrow at the earliest. At school this past week and the week before there has been a petition going around the jr high and high school side saying that the school should either turn up the heat or let us wear blankets or coats or something! i think everybody signed and i just heard mrs mackelrath(i'm not sure how to spell that) laughed when she read it and she hadn't realized the school was cold( mrs dempsey had actually brought a thermometer to school and it said it was 60 degrees in the 1st grade room), but they're working on making the heat go up and it's now to 68 and that's where it's probably going to stay so we're a little warmer.

doctor, pt, maroon v.s. gold, last game

went to the doctor friday and he said i was doing really good. my cuts look a lot smaller than i thought they would so i'm not very happy about that cause now i won't have very big scars. went to pt about an hour and a half later and even though it was only the second day of the second week i've already met most( if not all) of my end of second week goals- Mike wasn't very happy about that again cause that meant he couldn't stretch my leg very much THANK THE LORD!! the maroon v.s. gold game was hilarious! we all got mixed up on different teams- i mean main campus and east- and let's just say east was looking really good and main has some really funny players. by the end of the game the coaches were playing also even though mrs dempsey didn't have her cleats :). everyone got a free either gold or maroon jersey depending on wat team they played on. i got gold even though they didn't call my name cause there were some left for those of us that didn't show up or couldn't play. the last game we played really awsome but the other team ended up winning if our season had been a couple games longer we would've ended up winning games near the end but unfortunately it wasn't. i yelled a lot during the game but no one but the other people warming the bench could really hear me cause idk why but yeah. all i have to say about the other team is that they need to learn how to leave the goalie alone or else cause both matts wanted to teach them by the end cause they hadn't learned to leave matt alone (if u haven't watched one of our games that sentence probably will seem confusing) talk to ya later
